MODERN ART FOR YOUR HOME

For me, creating art is vital. It is a way to process and express what’s underneath. And I believe that the same can happen when you explore and experience art. That is why it is important to me to create art that feels meaningful, both to me and to the person who brings it into their home.

I create original paintings and drawings, alongside fine art prints, as a way of sharing something of my own journey, what I have learned, and what I continue to discover. I want to pass something on and give you, not only art that brings character and color into your space, but something personal.

Something that makes you stop for a moment, take a breath, and be present. Maybe, in those quiet moments, you dare to feel something within yourself you usually move past

About Making Sense Art by Marita

Making Sense Art is my space for exploring the connection between art, nature, inner landscapes and the spaces around us. I am Marita, a Norwegian artist creating original artwork and art prints inspired by organic forms, color, nature and the quiet things that stay with us.

My work is about more than what we see. I am interested in how color, shapes and visual surroundings can influence the feeling of a space and become part of our everyday lives.

From original paintings and one of a kind works to art prints and evolving collections, each piece is created from my own artistic practice and curiosity about what happens when art meets life.
